I can sleep alone at night now

I don’t even miss you not being there

I can make it thru the day alone

and not even worry

or say I don’t care

I can even pass the places

we used to sit and haunt

drink the wine we used to drink

and leave without a thought

and I can still count

the number of girls that I’ve loved

on my elbow
