Joni Mitchell turns 68 years old on November 7th. Since she began writing and performing in the early 60’s, she has become an iconic example of the troubadour songwriter, crafting amazingly creative and unique music that resonates with people of all ages. Women, in particular, are drawn to her personal reflections on romantic longing, disillusionment, and joy.
On Sunday November 6th, Robin Adler & Mutts of the Planet perform 2 of Joni’s best loved albums – “Blue” and “Court and Spark” – in their entirety as a birthday tribute. The all star group, remarkably true in sound and spirit to the original music, features Robin Adler vocals, Dave Blackburn guitars, Barnaby Finch piano, Dave Curtis keyboard, Peggy Watson backup vocals, Danny Campbell drums, Barry Cahill saxophone/flute, & special guest, Joni sideman & founding member of L.A. Express, Max Bennett on bass
