the disconnect - jun 5th, 2011
What a tenuous hold we have on reality. Sometimes it’s there – we sense it, we can feel it. We grab it and we hold on tight. Then – the next instant – the rope has slipped from our grasp and we’re suddenly chasing it down the sidewalk of time. And it always seems to be just out of reach.
S o, that’s it, I guess – the bittersweet truth. All we can do is take it moment to moment; walking around carrying water in a spoon, trying like hell not to spill it.
