Great green-mountained America
stretches out around the earthly globe
stacks of impossible-to-believe
beautiful vistas
fan out three thousand miles
tho winds and rains sometimes
wail across its plains
and surreal cities
pock its edges
there is something in its air
an attitude
everyone has an opinion
on the hunt for
their own kind of proud
some sit back
and just keep track
but most prefer to jostle
there is nothing
you can’t do here
as long as
you’re willing to
pay the price
please yourself
but be prepared to
work hard
but no matter how
crazy it gets
walk outside
look up at the sky
do you feel that?
take a deep breath
they call this freedom
they call this life
